The median sale price of a single-family home in the Bend area ticked up in October while Redmond dropped back below $300,000, according to the latest Beacon Report from Beacon Appraisal Group in Redmond.
The Bend median price rose slightly in October to $433,000 from $425,000 in September. Last month’s median was 5.3 percent higher than the same time in 2017.
Bend had 222 single-family home sales in October, and properties spent a median 89 days on the market.
In the Redmond area, the median sale price was $289,000, down 6.7 percent from the September median of $310,000.
Redmond’s median sale price for October was similar to the same month last year, when it was $284,000.
Redmond saw 92 homes sold after spending a median 95 days on the market.
