The median home price in Redmond jumped again last month over July, and since August 2015, it has increased about 29 percent, according to a report released Friday.
In Bend, the median price for a single-family home dropped slightly in August for the third straight month. However, year over year it has gone up about 4 percent, according to The Beacon Report.
The median price equals the midpoint, with half the prices above it and half below.
Last month, the median home price in Redmond reached $283,000, an 8 percent increase over July. In August 2015, it was $219,000, according to the report. Redmond recorded 98 home sales in August, 17 more than in July and 10 more than in August 2015.
In Bend, the median price for a single-family home dipped to $359,000, about 1 percent below July’s price. In August 2015, it was $345,000. Bend recorded 259 home sales last month, nine more than in July and 15 more than August 2015.
