Redmond home prices rise in November

The median sale price of a single-family home in Redmond rose in November, bucking the seasonal trends, according to the Beacon Report from Beacon Appraisal Group of Redmond.

The median sale price in Redmond was $305,000, up 7 percent from October and up 13 percent from November 2016, according to the December Beacon report. The November 2016 median was $270,000.

The number of sales in Redmond dropped from 90 in October to 73 last month. Redmond area homes spent and average 84 days on the market, up from 70 in October.

In the Bend area, the median sale price of single-family homes was $390,000, down 5 percent from October and up 4.2 percent from a year ago. The median sale price in November 2016 was $374,000.

The number of sales dropped from 228 in October to 195. Bend area homes spent an average 90 days on the market in November, compared to 89 days in October.
